SigzenAI — conversational answers (add-on licence)
With a SigzenAI licence, Ask AI (/ai_chat) is a conversation: ask, get a chart or
figure, ask a follow-up, refine. History is saved, answers can be turned into charts.
Good first questions:
Top 10 customers by sales this year How did sales this quarter compare to the same quarter last year? Which suppliers did we buy the most from this month? What's our sales total by item group?
When SigzenBI says "I can't answer that"
By design. Every answer is built from verified metric definitions — when your question falls outside them (or would need data your ERPNext doesn't have), SigzenBI refuses instead of guessing. A wrong number presented confidently is worse than an honest "I can't answer that accurately." Refused questions are logged so the catalog keeps growing.
When it does answer from outside the verified catalogue, it labels the answer in the chat: "⚠ Not a verified metric. I worked this out directly from your raw data, so it may be wrong — please double-check before making any financial or business decision on it."
It also won't predict the future ("what will next year's revenue be?") — it reports what your data says, it doesn't forecast.
What questions cost
Each question spends credits from your account balance — the balance chip next to the chat shows what you have. The trial includes 125 credits, each Analyst seat includes 100 a month and each SigzenAI licence 150; you can top up any time with prepaid packs that never expire. Details: Billing, seats & credits.

A Viewer with a SigzenAI licence can ask questions but cannot create or change dashboards.
